We offer the full development process from start to finish but or customers can also choose separately between our services.


Pattern making turns customers design into a real product. The development process is
 based on customer sketches, technical drawings or existing garment. We use modern
 CAD programs such as Optitex, Lectra and Gerber. Through the process our professional team are committed to find the most efficient technical solution and sewing technology.


We can deliver a precise copy of the original pattern through the digitalizing of an already existing pattern.


Grading is based on customers own scale or if such does not exist, our experienced team can propose suitable measurements / size table according to customer need.

Marker making

To make sure most efficient use of our customers fabric, we have invested into the
most modern marker making programs on the market for example Optitex Nest ++2. By the first sample we can calculate the fabric consumptions for final production so that customer can keep control fabric cost.


Through our extensive supplier network we assists our customers to find the right fabrics and accessories for their products. The objective is to ensure that our clients are working with suppliers whose products and services fit best with their business area and sustainability standards.

Our portfolio include reliable suppliers for

  • Fabrics – technical textile, work wear, sport wear, smart textile
  • Accessories - zippers, buttons, thread, reflectors, magnets, buckles, interlining, ribbons, cords, velcro tape, care / size labels, handtags, packaging material etc.


In 2013, Protex invested into a new cutting maching park with latest technology and extensive capcity to meet the increasing cutting demand from our customers. Today we use Lectra and Gerber automatic systems with all converting possibilites open. Our cuttes can cut up to 45 layers of fabric at once with a width of fabric up to 1,9 meters.

Cutting department also include a pneumatic heat press which makes it possible for us to do transfer of logos, washing instructions etc.


The production in our sewing departments are divided into two main areas:
ProtexWear and ProtexTech.

ProtexWear focuses on functional work wear/uniforms, sports wear and fashion apparel.

Our most common technologies are for example flatlock, overlock, one / two needles machines. For a full up date on available machines please contact Protex Balti's sales department.

ProtexTech focuses on technical/ smart textile and furniture.

In addition, to above technologies this department use special machinery such as overlock with rope, special machines that sew in plastic, decorative seam machine etc.

The sewing process is monitored by experienced technologists, line managers and controllers
 that make sure that sewing quality is at top level and orders are finalized in time.

Sewing department also include a 4Head 12 Colors embroidery machine which make it possible for us to offer custom made embroideries on demand.

Logistical solutions & warehouse

As a partner to our clients we are always focused to help our customers to save lead time
and costs. Therefore, we also offer our customers warehousing services that make it possible for clients to purchase bigger amounts of fabric that are stored in our warehouse as per agreement.

Through our scale of business, we have attractive agreements with reliable logistical companies such as DPD, DHL and Schenker who make sure our deliverables reach our customers in time.
